St. Joseph Statue

St. Joseph is described as the parton saint of the new world, the Universal Church, married couples, families, homes, carpenters, and, yes, real estate!

St. Joseph had no formal canonization being that canonization did not begin until many centuries after his death, and in the early church, canonization of saints was reserved for those who were martyred. His unofficial sainthood was declared by popular demand of Christians. Devotion to him is growing at an alarming rate.

There is very little known of his early years. He was a carpenter who worked with wood. He was engaged to Mary during the time of the Immaculate Conception and Birth of Christ. St. Joseph was the “foster” father of Jesus. But, there is no record of him beyond Jesus' being found in the temple when he was twelve. He was also known as a just man. Pretty uneventful, huh?

St. Joseph's Statue, on the other hand, is a different story altogether! His popularity in the real estate industry is nothing short of amazing! Real estate agents and private home sellers the world over know of St. Joseph's Statue.

A lot of people, Christians as well as non-Christians, have put a home on the market as “for sale by owner”. They go months or in some cases years trying to sell that residence to no avail. This also has happened with professional real estate agents.

In the 19th century, European nuns buried medals on some property they hoped to acquire when the owner refused to sell it to them. After burying the medal, they prayed and asked St. Joseph to intercede for them. Soon after, the owner of the land relented and sold the property to the nuns.

In more recent times, the ritual has changed. Instead of a medal, it has evolved into a statue, and it is used for selling property at a quick rate instead of buying land. This practice has been traced back to 1984 – and possibly could predate 1984. Around 1990, the popularity of the St. Joseph Statue exploded. Real estate agents began buying them in bulk, and it is reported to have worked very well. Since 1991, there have been hundreds – if not thousands – of letters written by people who have experienced this miracle.

In all the letters, the concept is the same. The home was on the market for several months or even years with no prospective buyers. The owner became desperate. Hearing of the St. Joseph Statue, the owner decided to try it because nothing else would work. They bought a St. Joseph Statue and buried it. Within weeks, the property was sold!

The practice is simple. Buy a plastic St. Joseph Statue – now available in kits. Find a place in the front yard and bury it with its feet pointing heavenward. Make sure St. Joseph's face is directed toward your house and not a neighboring house or it just might be that house sold instead of yours! Then, pray and ask for St. Joseph to intercede. Within a few short weeks you will see the results.Whether believers or skeptics, this has reports of genuineness from thousands of satisfied people. It's quite possible that St. Joseph is the best real estate agent of all time!
