This is a St Francis at the Manger Waterglobe Resin In 1223, St. Francis asked a friend from Greccio, Italy, to help him set up a manger scene for Christmas. As the townspeople gathered to worship at the site, St. Francis sang and spoke about the Baby Jesus. Suddenly one of the worshippers saw a vision of Jesus in the manger! In the vision, St. Francis cradled him in his arms. Since that night, the Christmas crib has become a part of popular spirituality.
